I run a stock broking firm in Kerala. We have help people with their money Management.
3 Years before I have decided to start promoting my company via my content distribution activity in social media with my wife. I had a basic idea of how money should be treated in personal life. It has got attention and we started generate lead and sell our products. 3 years back when I have started this work we didnt know this could go this further. But before this, I used to go for different forums and training on personal finance that gave me the confidence on subject. before that, when I got over my company. I didnt have any idea of practical stock investing. My colleage friends started the company,they didnt have the any corporate experience, since I have worked in an MNC for 10 years, everyone thought that my experience was enough to run the show.
When Started my career in fianacial service, I was an individual contributor, happy with my work. didnt even know how to talk. thats to my malayalam medium education and my laiziness to learn English. After worked for 3 years, we had a Team Leader opportunity came. I didnt have the confident to apply. But my friends had the confidence in me. I have got the role. That was big issue. I didnt know how to talk in conference calls and meetings. That push me to Toastmasters. Toastmasters helped me to talk in front of people.
Before that I was in Kerala studying in malayalam till under graduation. Gradution I have taken up business administration. biggest trouble was I had to study in English. I had good friends helped me to learn and pass the exam. but while admission time of my graduation, I didnt have good markes to get admission that was the time my Kabaddi certificates came handy to assure my admission to graduation.
During my School, I have studied in a convent school, my teachers and school helped me to build a discipline in my life. Even though I was not good at studies. School was good for academics and discipline, That helped me to adjusted anywhere I went to there. Till 5 standard I have studied in a government school in my village, my frined took admission in this school, so I wanted to join there, my father took the pain to use some influence to get admission there. I had a lovely childhood. My father and mother are always my role models, I have 1 brother and 2 sisters. I am blessed with beautiful daughter and wife staying in Kochi, after working in bangalore for 10 years and 7 years in Mumbai.
During this journey I had very good friends, mentors and wishers who have helped me to improve as a good human being. Still a lot of things to learn. I am continuing myself as a student learn and earn !
