I happen to watch an interview of Jude Anthany, director of a recent hit movie in Malayalam and acted in few movies. I could real feel the happiness of a successful man. who is ambitious and a dreamer who have achieved his milestone. He himself showcase as a normal person like any of us.
He is an Engineer, worked with an MNC in bangalore. Even same thing happens with me, I had worked in MNC in Bangalore, grown up in Kerala. He was not a reader, when realised reading is important, he started reading. One of the book her read was 'Alchemist', even I read that. But he reached there and I am here sitting and writing this blog. He wrote script for a successful movie. and continue writing other movies.
Is it the problem with destiny? he had the right faith to reach there? God knows.
But there are some good stories in his interview. He passion to become a film maker and he has taken the risk to make a movie. He had put in all the effort to frame a story and gain confident to shoot a movie. More importantly he was successful in convincing a group people to work with him and invest in him.
So what is the ingredient to achieve that? one take away I have is keep your dream alive. Always think, breath and dream about your purpose in life. Find the purpose of life before anything. what comes to mind, implement it. Implementation will help to learn something. The learning will take you to the destiny.
Lets stick to what I want by the disciple in action. 5 characteristics I am going to implement for this is -
Wake up early - yes I did it today.
Be sure what I want - ummmm
Say no. - um
Read instead of watching TV - um, I watched youtube and read a bit.
dont care what others think - um
