These days I have started watching more regional TV channels. Couple of days back I have watched an interview with a Tamil and Malayalam writer. I have impressed with his confidence and way of thought but not remember his name.
He has mentioned about his experience of having a breakfast from a five star hotel. He was having south Indian dish Idly. He saw a yellow curry next to idly. While having that curry he has asked for Sambar, it is combination for Idly in south India. The waiter told him that this curry was Sambar. That is the customized sambar for the foreigners. We have changes entire taste of pure India curry.
This is the example he has mentioned for how he feel about the Indian English writers. I am not a person to agree or disagree with him on this remark. But I have fully agreed with him that we should follow our culture and way of thinking and life to project our self. The outside should see the real person in us.
